Road to Flavorchem

I first heard about Flavorchem in 2018 after graduating from The University of Iowa, where I was hired in Quality Control. During my time here, I’ve made so many lifelong friendships and have become co-president of the Employee Engagement Team. I really enjoy organizing fun events where employees can socialize and get to know one another more. 

Interest in Food and Beverage

Food is my passion! I love to eat and experience all the flavors to their fullest! It is pretty cool that everyone I meet finds it fascinating that we produce flavors for the everyday items they eat.

Outside of Work

I love any and all water activities. Tubing, Skiing, floating on a tube, swimming, and fishing are my favorite water activities. I am always happiest when I am near a lake, river, or ocean! Last year, I went on a fishing trip to Canada with a friend from my hometown and caught my largest Northern Pike to date!

• Biggest Accomplishment: I married my best friend from my hometown in 2020 and we bought a home in the Northwest suburbs! I plan on taking my honeymoon this next year to somewhere where we can relax on a beach.
